The seminar “Information resources of the Cambridge University publishing house for scientific and educational community” took place on April 26 in the Library.
The event was organized by the National Library of Belarus along with one of the most ancient and reputable university publishing houses Cambridge University Press, which publishes prestigious editions about linguistics, laws, economics and other humanitarian and social sciences.
During the seminar, a regional manager in Poland, the Baltics and the CIS counties Leszek Chervinski delivered a report, where he presented an overview of main publishing collections, peculiarities and advantages of a new publishing platform Cambridge Core, and also held training on preparation and placing of publications in influential scientific editions.
Specialists of Belarusian libraries and information centres, scientific workers, professors from universities, young scientists, postgraduates and master’s students, authors of scientific publications participated in the seminar.
