The Library hosted an event dedicated to the work on the project "Belarusian Bibliography in Persons" on July 7.

Employees of the National Library of Belarus took part in the seminar, and 12 leading libraries of the country were also remotely connected.

As part of the event, the main tasks of the project, problems arising in the course of the research and the creation of factual materials were discussed. The results of current activities have been summarized and prospects for further cooperation in the framework of the publication about bibliographers have been outlined.

Ms T.V. Kuzminich, Deputy General Director – Director for Information Resources, Ms N.V. Lobach, Head of the Document Indexing and Authoritative Control Department made reports about the modern part, Ms I.V. Gradoukina, Head of the Bibliology Research Department spoke about the retrospective part, and Mr A.L. Baranouski, Chief Bibliographer of the Bibliology Research Department presented his report.

Great Talent, Great Work, Big Heart 2022

From January 17, a literary and visual exhibition is on show in the circular corridor of the 2nd floor. The exhibition is dedicated to the winners of the prize For Spiritual Revival, a special prize of the president of the Republic of Belarus to people of culture and art, as well as a special prize of the president of the Republic of Belarus Belarusian Sports Olympus for 2021.
