During the official visit to the Republic of Belarus on February 14 Binali Yildirim, Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey, signed several documents documents on expanding of cooperation in various fields between Belarus and Turkey.

Roman Motulsky, Director of the National Library of Belarus and Zulfi Thomann, President of the National Library of Turkey, signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the National Library of Turkey and the National Library of Belarus.

This document is aimed to strengthen the interaction between the two libraries in their professional activities and to promote the establishment of corporate relations in the field of science, culture and dissemination of scientific information.

International Intellectual Property Day is an opportunity to join the global celebration and celebrate the world's most incredible inventors and creators, and learn how IP helps shape our world.

A new project of the National Library of Belarus is dedicated to the Great Patriotic War – "Reading newspaper lines with your heart. On the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders."
Every week from January to August 2024, the portal of the National Library publishes materials from newspapers of Soviet Belarus in 1944, reflecting the chronicle of news and events of that time.

Valuable materials from the archive of the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus will be added to the project “Stanislaw Moniuszko. Musical romantic from Minsk region”

This year marks the 205th anniversary of the birth of the world-famous composer, our famous countryman Stanislaw Moniuszko (1819–1872). By this date, the National Library of Belarus is replenishing with new materials the already existing virtual project "Stanislaw Moniuszko. Musical romantic from Minsk region", created in 2019.

The Names of Heroes Are Immortal

The 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from Nazi invaders and the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War are among the main events of 2024 and 2025. Numerous patriotic and cultural and educational events, scientific conferences, exhibitions, publishing projects, electronic resources and much more will be dedicated to these anniversaries for two years.
