Other news

On December 19, we closed the season of free public lectures “Belarusian Music in the World’s Art.” The project was prepared by the National Library of Belarus and the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus.

The final event was held with the participation of the musical chapel "Cantus Alba Rutheniae."

The string quartet with professional choir performed Christmas and New Year’s songs and chants.

The audience, which this evening was about 100 people, had the opportunity to touch the treasury of national musical culture. Traditionally, the attendees performed several pieces together with the choir.

At the end of the event, spectators sincerely applauded the chapel artists. Many kind words were addressed to the head of the team, Galina Tsmyg, as well as to everyone who was involved in the organization of the “musical lectures.” At parting, the attendees expressed hope to meet next season.

The public lectures will continue. Follow the news on the portal. See you next year!
