The presentation of "The Era of Independence" book written by President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev was held on October 24 in the library.
The first President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, is the author of more than 30 books. "The Era of Independence" book reflects the years when the most important decisions, on which the future path of development of the country depended, were taken.
Written in the genre of historical journalism, the book shows the author’s view of the modern history of Kazakhstan and its future, characterizes the stages of building a sovereign state since its foundation, reflects the essence of the Kazakhstan model of economic and political development, and provides an analysis of new priorities at the current stage of development in the context of the new global reality.
The publication of the new "The Era of Independence" book by Nursultan Nazarbayev has become a significant event for a wide range of readers, youth, representatives of the scientific community of Kazakhstan.
The presentation was opened by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Belarus Ermukhamet Ertysbayev. During the presentation, he presented the library with several books: “The Era of Independence” by Nursultan Nazarbayev, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, “Kazakhstan and Nazarbayev: The Logic of Change” by Ermukhamet Ertysbayev and “Implementation of the Eurasian Project of Nursultan Nazarbaev” by Tair Mansurov. Ermukhamet Ertysbayev also spoke about the activities of the President of Kazakhstan and noted that "his grandiose reforms allowed to build a new country."
Tatyana Kuzminich, Deputy Director of the National Library of Belarus for Information Resources, thanked Ermukhamet Ertysbayev for a wonderful gift and reminded that the National Library of Belarus and the National Libraries of Kazakhstan have strong friendly relations.
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Belarus Latif Seyfaddin oglu Gandilov also took part in the presentation. He spoke about the friendship between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, the role of the President of Kazakhstan in the development of his country, noting that "Nursultan Nazarbayev is the greatest politician of our time".
In the near future the readers could see the book “The Era of Independence”, as well as other donated publications, in the Library.
