On 11 March, at 4 p.m., a presentation of reference books that contain information about the features of the modern Belarusian language will be held in the gallery Labyrinth.
Guests of the event will become familiar with Slounіk belaruskay movy (Dictionary of the Belarusian Language), Gramatychny slounіk dzeyaslova (Verb Grammar Dictionary), Gramatychny slounіk nazounіka (Noun Grammar Dictionary), Gramatychny slounіk prymetnіka (Adjective Grammar Dictionary), Gramatychny slounіk zaymennіka, lіchebnіka, pryslouya (Grammar Dictionary of Adjective, Numeral, Proverb). These fundamental research editions were prepared by the Centre of Belarusian culture, language and literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
During the event, the guests will see a book exhibition "Words and words and it will be a language" which will include more than a hundred spelling, explanatory, historical and other dialect dictionaries of the Belarusian language from the National Library of Belarus which have been published in different years since the 19th century.
