The presentation of the Belarus in the Information Space Website and Virtual Reading Room was held on March 2 at the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts for the students of the Department of Information and Document Communications of the Faculty of Distance Learning.
Ms Lyubov Danilenko, the Leading Librarian of the NLB Corporate Interaction Department, introduced students to the structure, content and search capabilities of the site. Belarus in the Information Space is a navigator for authoritative Belarusian electronic information resources.
The presentation was attended by students from various regions of Belarus. They were interested in sections of the site that provide links to Internet resources on the Year of Native Land, as well as library and museum resources.
Particular attention was paid to the section of the site that represents the project of the National Library of Belarus 100 Days to the Great Victory Through the Pages of 1945 Belarusian Newspapers.
