On July 2nd, at the Round Hall of the National Library of Belarus took place the presentation of state awards of the Republic of Belarus to sportsmen, trainers and workers of different branches of national economy.
50 persons received awards: statesmen, scientists, servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, teachers, sportsmen, employees, workers and agricultural workers. Participants of the solemn event received the Order of Honor; the Order of Fatherland; the medals “For Great Services”, “For Merits at Military Service”, Frantsisk Skaryna Medal; the ranks of a honored research worker of the Republic of Belarus and a honored industry worker of the Republic of Belarus were given; the gratitude on behalf of the President of the Republic of Belarus was expressed.
The presentation of awards was held in compliance with the decrees of the President of the Republic of Belarus of February 4th 2010 № 61, April 23rd 2010 № 196 and resolutions of the President of the Republic of Belarus of April 23rd 2010 № 129-rp and May 3rd 2010. № 143-rp.
Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus S.S. Sidorsky presented the awards on behalf of the President of the State.
