On 11 April, a festive opening of the exhibition "Polyphony" presenting the creative works made by the teachers of the Art College named after A. Glebov was held in the gallery “Panorama”.
For the second time the National Library of Belarus hosted the exhibition of the creative works made by the teachers of the Minsk State Arts College named after A. Glebov.
At the event there were spoken First Deputy Director for User Service and Ideology Elena Dolgopolova; Head of the Gallery and Exhibition Division, chairman of the International Artists’ Guild Fyodor Yastreb; Director of the Minsk State Art College named after A. Glebov Alexander Shantarovich, chief teacher of special disciplines of the Minsk State Art College named after A. Glebov Andrei Karpenkov. The visitors of the exposition enjoyed the performance of the students of the Minsk State Musical College named after M. Glinka.
The exhibition includes paintings, drawings and sculptures for many years whose authors are the college professors who work in it today. The exhibition brought together different generations of artists –more mature and experienced: V. Kulvanovskaya, O. Khartanovich, S. Chepik, and those who have come to work in the college recently, almost immediately after their graduation: M. Gorokhovik-Labuda, Y. Brel, A. Karpenkov, and V. Kachenya, etc.
The exhibition "Polyphony" is of great importance for the students of art colleges. The teachers’ perception through their creativity can significantly improve mutual understanding, strength the teachers’ authority.
The entrance to the exhibition is paid. The price is equal to the entrance to the Observation Platform of the Library.
