A poetry evening with Karina Sarsenova, poetess, producer and Anton Mitnev, actor, filmmaker, poet was held on March 2 in the National Library of Belarus.

The event was held within the framework of the XXVth Minsk International Book Fair.

Having united their talent, experience and life philosophy, two poets, Karina Sarsenova and Anton Mitnev, issued their common poetic collection Dvojnaya Sploshnaya (Double Continuous). Literary critics have already praised the collection, and the guests of the meeting were able to do this today during the event.

The authors presented their listeners the lyrical verses about the meaning of life, love, friendship, harmony, happiness and other eternal values. Different in mood and meaning, verses complement each other and enhance the emotional perception of poetry.

The meeting was held in a very warm atmosphere and evoked a lively response from listeners.

The ethno-folklore ensemble Turan presented the original music performances. The virtuoso playing  on national musical instruments allowed the audience to touch the culture of the Kazakh people.
