Ms Angela Espinosa is a Spaniard who speaks many languages, studies Belarusian language and literature, writes poetry in Belarusian and receives literary awards in Belarus. She is the author of the collections of poems and proses Royal la Mora (2015), Memory of the Future (2015), Pomme de Ciel (2017) and Wings Color (2019). Angela's works were published in the magazines Maladost, Dzyaslou, Polymya and others.

Angela is an amazing person living in different cultural worlds. She does not only study the language but immerges in the cultural space. The Children saw a charming Spaniard in front of them and listen to her reasoning, they entered the world of Belarusian consciousness by reading her poetry. Angela chose Belarusian as the language of creativity. Trying to find her lyrical language in a non-native system, experimenting with metaphors, sounds, style - this is her successful way to master the language.

The meeting had a format of dialogue full of questions about books, languages and literature. Of course, Angela's poems sounded, and most of them were read by the children themselves! The guest told about her experience of polyglot and surprised children and adults with the successes. To the questions of "book professors" whether it is difficult to learn languages and how long it is necessary to work on themselves, Angela encouraged them, saying: "It's easy and interesting! You will succeed!"

Angela translated into Spanish the poems of Maxim Bogdanovich In 2017, the translations were included in the collection Sounds of My Motherland published in Madrid. The participants of the event read poems from the publication in Belarusian, and Angela replied in Spanish. The guest inspired the children to learn Spanish because Pagonya in Spanish sounds so beautiful!

Angela considered that the successful defence of the doctoral thesis on Belarusian literature was the most important personal achievements. The defence took place in September 2019 at the Faculty of Philology at the University of Complutense in Madrid.

Book professors received autographs of the famous guest in memory of the Belarusian-Spanish meeting. Angela also signed her books for readers of the National Library of Belarus.
