The Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Poland organized an event dedicated to the celebration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus and the 75th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War on July 2.
The photo exhibition "Belarus: Beautiful Moments" was prepared by the National Library of Belarus together with the TV channel "Belarus 24" for the Year of Native Land, the opening event took place as a part of the celebration. The exhibition of the project includes the works of famous Belarusian photographers. The exhibition shows the unique culture of the country, the beauty of nature, the kindness and cheerfulness of its inhabitants. On display, Belarus appears as a beautiful, prosperous, diverse and unique country with centuries-old history, there are monuments of ancient culture and architecture, modern buildings and innovative ideas.
Mr Vladimir Chushev, Extraordinary and Comprehensive Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Poland, and Mr Tadeusz Skokok, Director of the Independence Museum in Warsaw, addressed the guests of the event: "The exhibition was created on the initiative of the National Library of Belarus. The entire exhibition consists of 20 photographs by famous photographers and depicts people, landscapes, monuments and, one might say, just a variety of everyday colours. I hope, dear gentlemen, you will feel in each picture this refined spirit of love for the earth, will appreciate the skills of the Belarusian artists".
The event was attended by the Extraordinary and Comprehensive Ambassadors of the Russian Federation and the State of Israel in the Republic of Poland, representatives of public associations and business circles, and the media.
The Museum of Independence in Warsaw will hold the photo exhibition until July 22.
We hope that this beautiful project will give an opportunity for foreign viewers to see Belarus from an unexpected side.
