The creative meeting with Belarusian writers living abroad “Our hearts are with our Motherland” takes place at the art gallery “Labyrinth” (the National Library of Belarus) on 5 May at 4 p.m.
The event is part of the ХV International specialized exhibition “Mass Media in Belarus” with participation of Belarusian journalists and writers living both in Belarus and abroad.
Representatives of the Belarusian Diasporas in Ukraine, Estonia, Georgia, Poland and Latvia will take part in the creative meeting at the National Library of Belarus.
Guests of the event will see an exhibition of about 60 documents from the stocks of the National Library of Belarus about the history of Belarusian emigration and Belarusian emigrants whose names are well-known both in their native land and in Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Czechia, Poland and other countries. The works of Belarusian poets and writers living abroad will be on display along with the books on the history of Belarusian emigration.
Within the framework of the event, the books of Belarusian poets and writers living abroad will be presented as a gift to the National Library of Belarus.
