Readers of the National Library of Belarus received access to the biographical database Prabook.
Prabook is a biographical encyclopedia in English. According to its creators (The World Biographical Encyclopedia inc), its goal is not only to present articles about famous people but also to give everyone an opportunity to write and post their own biography or biographies of the significant people.
Currently, Prabook contains more than 3 million articles, divided into categories: occupation, nationality, ethnicity, religion, political party.
The profiles in the online database contain information about education, career, achievements, publications and other information, as well as media files.
Access for the readers of the National Library of Belarus is available until December 31, 2020.
