The Library hosted a presentation of ProQuest electronic information resources for representatives of the medical sector of our country: healthcare institutions, medical universities and colleges, the National Scientific Medical Library on May 26.
The participants learned about the content structure functional advantages of the ProQuest platform in the information support of research, educational and practical activities in the field of medicine. Domestic scientists were presented with an algorithm for placing the results of their own scientific developments on the platform.
Ms Hanna Tryfanava, Head of the ProQuest company regional projects and Mr Aliaksandr Lipenski, certified coach of ProQuest were the speakers at the seminar.
The Virtual Reading Room of the National Library of Belarus is open for cooperation with various organizations in our country on subscription to licensed databases, training in working with them, as well as the promotion of the electronic information resources generated by Belarusian libraries.
