The children's matinee "New Year adventures" took place in the conference hall for the children of the Library employees on December 23.

Children look forward to New Year holidays: they can turn into their favorite heroes, wear smart suits and, of course, get a gift from Santa Claus himself! Today, the spacious hall of the National Library gathered fairy-tale characters – musketeers, snowflakes, princes and princesses, and even robbers.

There was magic atmosphere during the whole performance. Little spectators were happy to meet a Snow Maiden from a fairy-tale and attentively looked at every movement of their favorite characters. They participated in contests and amusements with great pleasure.

The main winter wizard in a red coat with a huge bag of gifts came having heard loud shouts of children. Santa Claus lighted up garlands on the Christmas tree and gave the children real magic. Kids had so much fun at the festival which they have been waiting for the whole year!
