The Children's Room held an event titled “Multchitayka” based on A. Lindgren’s fairy tale “Pippi Longstocking” on the 22nd of August.
Cheerful little girl Pippi with freckles and perky red pigtails, a dreamer and mischief, was magically able to convey a joyful and carefree mood from the pages of the book and cartoon frames.
Pippi's adventures are exciting and amusing. She performs in the circus, wears long stockings of different colors, loves her friends, always cheers up the dull, helps out of trouble and stands for the weak, while completely forgetting about herself.
Boys and girls were happy to make the Pippi Socks applique using coloured paper and glue. The event ended with a cheerful musical exercise.
