On February 12th–13th, within the bounds of the XXII Minsk International Book Fair, the National Library hosted a seminar “Modern information and communication technologies in the reflection of library book world”.


The event was prepared by the Council of libraries of Belarus for information interaction, the National Library of Belarus and the Fundamental Library of the Belarusian State University.

The seminar gathered about 140 representatives of republican, public and university libraries, university students and professors.

Participants of the seminar presented papers and reports on the following topics: software and hardware for automation of library processes, corporate information systems and technologies in libraries , integrated search systems of leading companies – developers of automated library systems "Ex Libris Ltd""Asseco Lietuva", Inform-sistema, "Bibliotheca RFID Library Systems AG", Data Express , INEAK, LIBER.
