The 27th Minsk International Book Fair (MIBF) ended on February 9.
The largest Belarusian book festival is a traditional event for the National Library of Belarus. The employees of the Diamond of Knowledge presented publishing projects related to the renewal of the Brest Bible and the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory this year on February 5 and February 7.
The guests of the fair explored the stand of the country's main library for five days with interest. Anyone could touch the 15-kilogram facsimile of the Brest Bible, leaf through the pages of the book, evaluate the quality of printing, and also get acquainted with the results of other publishing projects on the reconstruction of book monuments in Belarus. The library was awarded the diploma for active participation and an interesting exposition as the results of the fair.
The National Library presented the exhibition named The Space of Estonian Books and the publication named Riga Through the Eyes of an Artist as part of the 27th Minsk International Book Fair.
A joyful event for the library was the victory in the national competition Art of the Book in the nomination For Contribution to the Preservation of the Spiritual Heritage. The awards underscored the importance of reviving the Belarusian book heritage.
