On 13 January at the National Library of Belarus took place a meeting with rector of the Institute of Culture of Belarus, Candidate of Philology Ivan Kruk.
As a well-known ethnographer, folklorist, author of books dedicated to the study of traditional spiritual culture of the Belarusian people, Ivan Kruk has revealed the old forgotten mysteries of winter rites and people’s holidays and answered the audience’s questions.
In 2011, there was published his new book “The Golden Rules of People’s Culture” dedicated to the main calendar holidays and the norms of conduct of a human and a family when preparing and performing traditional family rites.
