The joint meeting of the Commission on Cultural Cooperation of the Belarusian-Chinese intergovernmental committee took place in the National library of Belarus on October 13, 2015.
The event was held in the framework of the Days of Chinese Culture in Belarus. The meeting was headed by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus Barys Sviatloǔ and the Deputy Minister of Culture of the People’s Republic of China Ding Wei.
The guests were offered an excursion around the National Library, where they got acquainted with its history and resources, its opportunities as the information and socio-cultural centre of the country, the architectural peculiarities and interior design of "the diamond of knowledge".
The guests left a commemorative note in the Book of honored guests and presented each other memorable gifts in the Book Museum.
