On 3 October, the meeting of the Belarusian Council of Libraries for Information Interaction was held at the Republican Scientific Medical Library.
The meeting where the Chairman was Director of the National Library of Belarus R. Motulsky was attended by leaders of national and regional libraries as well as representatives of the National Library of Belarus.
The following problems were discussed:
- The development of the electronic union catalog of libraries in Belarus: on the results of the conducted task 23 of the State program "Culture of Belarus" stage 2012 – 9 months of 2013.
- The purchase of databases for the Virtual Reading Room for 2014.
- The participation of Belarusian libraries in the Exhibition of electronic information resources and services on 23–24 October, 2013.
- The changes in the staff of the Belarusian Council of Libraries for Information Interaction.
The work of the Belarusian Council of Libraries for Information Interaction was estimated as good by the attendees.
