On 13 August, at 6 p.m., the opening of a cultural educational project “Martin Luther: 530 years from the date of birth” will be held at the National Library of Belarus (3rd floor).
The exhibition is designed by the National Library of Belarus jointly with the German public association “Mosty” and dedicated to the 530th anniversary of “great reformer” of Germany Martin Luther.
In 2017, there will have been 500 years since Martin Luther has nailed the manifesto of 95 theses against indulgence. It appeared on the gates of All Saints’ Church (known as Castle Church) in Wittenberg, Germany.
From 2008 to 2017, there is a decade of M. Luther in Germany that includes exhibitions, plays, discussions other actions devoted to the German Reformation and the figure of Martin Luther.
Visitors of the exhibition can join a series of festive events.
The exposition will contain illustrations and information materials as well as fiction books about Martin Luther.
The exhibition “Martin Luther: 530 years from the date of the birth” will last till 29 September, 2013.
