On March 5-6 director of the National Library of Belarus Roman Motulsky donated about 900 publications to five libraries of the Gomel Region in the framework of the charity campaign “Reading as Information and Knowledge Space”.
There were the Gomel Regional Universal Library named after V.I. Lenin, Centralized Library Network of the Gomel and Petrikov Districts, the network of public libraries in Gomel.
The libraries’ collections were enlarged with works of the classic of world literature, contemporary authors, children's writers, reference and encyclopedic publications, popular science and educational literature.
These books are collected by the National Library of Belarus with the active participation of the Pachatkovaya Shkola publishing house, BukLineGrup, BeltaimBook, Mobilbuk book-selling organizations, the Minsk City Institute for Educational Development and other organizations.
We invite all those who are not indifferent to join the charity campaign in order to unite our efforts to increase and contribute to a good deed of nurturing a love for the book and reading, expanding knowledge, and enhancing the intellectual potential of the young generation.
