On 8th February, within the framework of XХ Minsk international book fair a round table meeting "Libraries of Belarus and formation of information culture of pupils and students” was held at the National Library of Belarus.
The event was arranged by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus and the National Library of Belarus.
Representatives of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Education, the Minsk Regional Institute for Education Development, the National Institute of Education, and directors and specialists of libraries took part in the meeting.
The following questions were considered during the round table:
- formation of information culture of pupils and students from the experience of Belarusian libraries;
- the opportunities of modern library institutions in the field of formation of information culture of young adults;
- orientation in the information space;
- strategies of interdepartmental interaction and social partnership.
