The International Theological and Practical Conference "18th Denisieva Readings", organized by the I. A. Bunin Orel Regional Scientific Universal Public Library and the Orel State Institute of Culture, is taking place on 28-29 October in Orel, Russian Federation. The conference is part of the Year of Science and Technology in the Russian Federation.
Ms Maryna Rudakouskaja, Head of the Corporate Interaction Department of the National Library of Belarus, took part in the plenary session of the conference with a report "The resources of the Virtual Reading Room of the National Library of Belarus in the information support of the regional historical, cultural and library research". The listeners of the conference highly appreciated the work of the National Library and the public libraries of Belarus on the formation of the Belarusian and local history content of the Virtual Reading Room resources.
We would like to thank the organizers of the conference for inviting us to participate and hope that the information resources of the Virtual Reading Room will inspire scholars for new discoveries and serve as a quality resource base for historical and cultural research in our countries.
