On December 2, 2006, the International conference “UNESCO Program: Memory of the World”: activity of libraries, archives and museums for documentary heritage safekeeping” finished its work.
Over 150 representatives form 6 countries participated in the conference. At the seminar “New technologies of documentary heritage safekeeping” which was held in the framework of the conference was presented a technological complex of National Library of Belarus: electronic processing of audio and video information, microfilms, microfiches, producing of electronic copies of documents, and retro conversion of information resources.At the end of the conference a resulting document was adopted.
