On November 23-29, 2008, in National Library of Belarus took place an Intercontinental referee’s rhythmic gymnastics course for the 12th Olympic period (2009-2012) organized by Belarusian Association on Gymnastics and the Ministry of Sport and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus.
The aim of the course is instruction of referees in new rules and regulations of rhythmic gymnastics, and advancement and approval of referees’ categories for the next Olympic period (2009-2012).
In the event participated: Grandi Bruno, the President of the International Gymnastics Federation, Andre Gueisbuhler, the Secretary General ofthe International Gymnastics Federation, members of the International Gymnastics Federation, members of technical committee for rhythmic gymnastics, referees participants from 41 countries of the CIS, Eastern and Western Europe, the USA, as well as the Middle East and Africa.
