The capital of the Grodno region is a city with rich historical and cultural heritage. Many people contributed to its economic, scientific and cultural development, defended their homeland during the years of war. Various types of monuments that symbolize the selfless service of citizens of their homeland such as busts, sculptures, monuments, bas-reliefs, commemorative plaques are installed in Grodno in honor of and to perpetuate our memory of them.
The database Monumental Memory of the Сity of Grodno contains information about the most important sculptural objects of the city. Historians, local lore experts, as well as anyone interested in fine art, will receive brief information about the author, creation time, location, as well as about the person immortalized in the sculptural object, who glorified Grodno and the Grodno region for their achievements.
