The Book Museum of the National Library of Belarus is displaying the world's only collection of poetry by Belarusian poets at the "5+5+5" anniversary exhibition.

This book was published in one copy (Minsk, 1999) on the initiative of the national literary and art foundation "Hronka". It is a miniature edition of 100x65 mm in size. A special binding of blue velvet on cardboard was made for the souvenir book, embellished with delicate filigree trims.

The collection consists of three sections, including verses by three poets: Siarhiej Zakonnikau, Anatol Zekau, Alies Pismiankou. At the beginning of each chapter, there are inscriptions by the authors “I Wish You Happiness! Siarhiej Zakonnikau"; “Under the Sails of Love to the Hearts of Unity! An. Zekau"; “Let the Stars Shine on You! Alies Pismiankou".

Today one of the initiators of the book publication, renowned Belarusian poet, translator and publicist Siarhiej Zakonnikau, celebrates his 75th birthday. We would like to wish the writer good health and, as he once wrote in his inscription to the readers of the library, "... happiness!"

Look for the unique collection of poems by Belarusian poets among the five rare books at the exhibition "5+5+5".

The exhibition will run in the Book Museum (room 347) until October 24, 2021.
The end date is subject to change.

The opening hours of the exhibition correspond to the working hours of the Book Museum.
Admission is by the library card or by the Social and Cultural Centre ticket.
