The Library hosted a presentation of K. Tsybulski's book "I Stay Here" on June 8. The book was published in 2021 by the publishing house "Belarus" with the support of the Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus.

Kastus Tsybulski is a famous songwriter, author of numerous collections of poetry and songs: "New Moon Night" (1994), "Wind of Era" (1995), "A Prayer and a Song" (2006), "Silhouette in the Window" (2006), "A Moment over the Abyss" (2008), multi authored collections "Springs" (1977 ), "Search" (1995), "I See my Land Here" (2005), "Take the Song Along" (2005).

His works were set to music by composers V. Ivanou, E. Zarytski, K. Zakhleuny, they are performed by famous Belarusian artists V. Dajneka, N. Skorykau, Ja. Navumenka, A. Jarmolienka, ensembles "Siabry", "Javar "and others.

It has become a good tradition to hold book presentations in cooperation with the publishing house "Belarus". Ms Aksana Knizhnikava, new Director General of the National Library of Belarus, opened the event with a welcome speech. Ms Anzhela Sadouskaja, leading specialist of the publishing house "Belarus" spoke about the work on the publication. Introducing the book, Kastus Tsybulski also talked about the work on the publishing project and handed over a copy of "I Stay Here" to the Library.

Ms Alena Stelmakh, First Deputy Chairperson of the Belarusian Writers' Union attended the event and gave the poet Certificate for his significant contribution to Belarusian literature, active participation in the social and cultural life of the country and in connection with his 65th birthday.

The warm atmosphere of the evening was created by a concert, where People's Artist of Belarus V. Jatskievich, artist of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society A. Balotnik, soloists of the Belarusian variety A. Savanets, D. Khmialnitskaja, V. Alshanskaja, artist V. Kaniakhin, folk ensemble "Plisa" and art-group "Golden Mill" made their performances.
