On October 11, the library hosted a breakout session for directors of Belarusian pedagogical colleges on “Actual Issues of Training Teachers with Secondary Special Education.”
The event was part of the Republican pedagogical readings "Secondary Special Education: Traditions and Innovations."
During the meeting, Elena Dolgopolova, first deputy director of the National Library of Belarus, made a presentation titled “Information Culture of Students: Approaches to Formation” (in Russian: “Информационная культура учащихся: подходы к формированию”).
The session discussed the development strategies for secondary special teacher education, students' information culture, updating the content of educational programs and other aspects of teacher training.
At the end of the session, the attendees made a sightseeing tour of the National Library.
