On July 22 and 23, the Zvyozdny children's recreation camp, located in a picturesque pine forest, Molodechno District, Minsk Region, hosted the on-site virtual teaching tours. The event was part of the National Library’s project The Outstanding People of the Motherland.
The vacationers made an interactive tour to the National Library of Belarus and learned more about the life and work of the classic of Belarusian literature, Uladzimir Karatkevich.
The boys and girls watched the animated film, The Tale of Bygone Years, about the coats of arms of Minsk and the city of Rogachev, where the writer's ancestors had lived, and then they performed creative tasks and guessed a quiz. The National Library prepared a book display about Uladzimir Karatkevich.
