On 14 February, a creative event "Great talent, great work, great heart" and a presentation of a book-illustrative exhibition were held at the National Library of Belarus.
The event was dedicated to the winners of the award "For Spiritual Revival" and the Special Prize of the President of the Republic of Belarus for cultural and art workers in 2012.
The award "For Spiritual Revival" and the Special Prize of the President of the Republic of Belarus for cultural and art workers are awarded annually for outstanding works of literature and art, active work in the humanitarian field aimed at the development and strengthening of moral values.
The Guests of the solemn ceremony met with the winners, learn more about their activities, achievements, projects and plans.
The actors of the theater of the Republican Unitary Enterprise "The National Cinema Company "Belarusfilm" played a fragment from the play He Who Laughs Last written by Krapiva.
A soloist of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre sang an aria from the opera A Grey Legend by D. Smolsky.
The documentary Malyavany ray (The painted paradise) was shown during the creative event.
The guests enjoyed the performance of the students of Professor of the Belarusian State Academy of Music Yevgeny Gladkov and the choir of the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts under the direction of Albina Pekutko.
On the occasion of awarding the winners the National Library of Belarus organized a book-illustrative exhibition, which presents materials from the Library about the winners who praise Belarus with their art and fruitful work. It is books, graphic materials (posters, photoes), and periodicals.
This exhibition is located on the 2nd floor of the circular corridor and will be presented to the public until 17 April.
