On June 25, 2009, in the framework of an official visit to the Republic of Belarus, Head of Rostov district administration (the Russian Federation) V.F. Chub visited National Library of Belarus.
The honorable guest made an excursion f the Library and got acquainted with the architecture and interior of the building, user service, information resources and equipment in particular with document delivery system.
Governor V.F. Chub ascended the Library’s Observation platform and admired the panorama of Minsk. In the Museum of a Book the guest viewed the collection of rarities from the Library’s stock and wrote an entry to the Guests’ of Honor Book.
The governor whished the Library workers well-being and further professional successes and handed to the Library a few new publications.
