On 10 October within the framework of a visit to the Republic of Belarus the official governmental delegation of the Republic of Colombia visited the National Library of Belarus.
The delegation was led by Colombian Vice Minister for Multilateral Affairs Mrs. Patti Londoño Jaramillo.
Mrs. Elena Dolgopolova, First Deputy Director for User Service and Ideology, welcomed the guests at the National Library of Belarus.
Members of the delegation made a familiarization excursion to the Library and learned about its activities, architectural features, equipment, information resources and interior design. The excursion continued on the outdoor observation platform of the Library where the guests had a picturesque view of the capital and the suburbs.
At the Book Museum the guests acquainted themselves with the collection of rare editions from the stocks of the National Library of Belarus.
