Since 29 November, the four-day thematic seminar "Generation of bibliographic records in BELMARC format” is taking place at the National Library of Belarus
Leading specialists of university libraries from different regions of Belarus participate in the seminar.
Employees of the National Library of Belarus and the research-and-production firm “INEAK” are familiarizing participants with the technology of developing machine-readable bibliographic production and use of the Union electronic catalog, and holding practical trainings on generation of bibliographic records for different kinds of documents.
Within the framework of the seminar a round table on the urgent issues of cataloguers’ activity will be held.
