The virtual reading room of the National Library informs that during 2019 all organizations located in Belarus have free access to the Cochrane Library.
This is part of the HINARI Access to Research for Health Program, initiated by the World Health Organization. The resource is provided by the international publishing house Wiley.
The Cochrane Library is a collection of databases on evidence-based medicine, including the Cochrane Systematic Review Database (CDSR), the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials (CENTRAL), the Cochrane Clinical Answers and others.
The core of the collection is the Cochrane Systematic Review Database (CDSR), a full-text database that contains proven scientific facts. The resource is regularly updated as new test results are received.
The Cochrane Library is designed for practitioners, researchers, heads of medical institutions, and anyone interested in using quality information to make health care decisions.
Access is open until December 31, 2019.
