On 20th June, the solemn opening of the 15th World Congress of Russian Press was held at the National Library of Belarus.
President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko welcomed participants of the forum in the National Library of Belarus.
Within the framework of the event there opened the historical and documentary exhibition from the collections of the National Library of Belarus, the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War and the Russian State Library Partisan movement in Belarus: press in 1941–1944. The exposition was prepared by the Information Telegraph Agency of Russia, the World Association of Russian Press and the Belarusian Telegraph Agency in cooperation with the Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus.
