On June 1, an excursion for pupils of secondary school No. 44 in Vitebsk was held at the Library.
The National Library’s employees have congratulated the little quests with the International Children's Day. During the excursion they have made a lot of discoveries. They have learned how the "Diamond of Knowledge" was arranged. They were surprised by the number of books in the library funds and they could find their favorite books in the electronic catalog. They have also seen the largest reading room and have made a wish near the fountain in the atrium of the 1st floor. Finally they have gone up to the observation deck of the Library.
Small souvenirs were given to the children as a memento of the Library.
We hope that the excursion day became a really festive for pupils!
