A seminar-presentation on use of electronic information resources was held on October 20 at the National Library of Belarus.
The event had been prepared by the National Library of Belarus and subscription agency KONEK (the Russian Federation) in cooperation with the Council of Libraries of Belarus for Information Interaction.
Participants of the seminar considered the questions concerning access to the databases ProQuest and Ovid Technologies and the electronic resources Emerald on management, finances and economy, and also to the electronic resources of the world’s publishing houses Springer, Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press.
Representatives of subscription agency KONEK, companies ProQuest, Emerald Group Publishing Ltd, Ovid Technologies CmbH, and publishing house Springer Verlag CmbH delivered their reports at the seminar.
The event gathered more than 70 participants: Belarusian librarians, research workers, professors and students.
