The manual is prepared by the National Library of Belarus.
It includes principles of creating bibliographic records on various kinds of documents (books, collections, materials of conferences, electronic documents, articles from magazines, collections, etc.).
The manual contains numerous examples made in accordance with the Instruction on creating dissertation, report and publication on the theme of the dissertation of the Supreme Certifying Commission of the Republic of Belarus and State Standard 7.1–2003 "Bibliographic record. Bibliographic description. General requirements and rules of drawing up”. A special attention is given to the description of electronic resources, standard legal acts and archival documents.
