On 11th July, at 12.00, the opening ceremony of the exhibition of Lithuanian photo artist Algimantas Aleksandravičius Different epochs, common roots is to be held in the gallery Panorama of the National Library of Belarus (Nezavisimosty Ave., 116, 22nd floor, the central entrance door).
Photo artist Algimantas Aleksandravičius, going deep into the past of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania everywhere in Lithuania, Belarus and Ukraine, and searching for the vestiges of its former greatness from the Baltic up to the Black sea, couldn’t but notice and fix in photos the traces left by poets Adam Mickiewicz (1798–1855) and Czesław Miłosz (1911–2004) who considered themselves as the last citizens of this state and kept nobleman’s and civil traditions of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
Algimantas Aleksandravičius ingeniously connects the signs left by the poets during their lifetime with realities of present day.
From 12th July, entrance to the exhibition through the Observation platform is paid.
