The virtual reading room of the National Library of Belarus provides access to online journals of the independent academic publisher De Gruyter.

De Gruyter is one of the largest independent academic publishers. During 270 years since its founding, the publisher has accumulated rich experience in the dissemination of knowledge and has involved Harvard University Press, Princeton University Press and Yale University Press.

346 peer-reviewed journals in the humanities, social and natural sciences from 1826 to the present are available for testing. Most journals have an impact factor, which confirms their academic value. The publisher’s platform also features over 100 open access journals.

Publications are in the English and German languages.

Access is provided until December 28, 2019.

Professional Travel to Libraries of Netherlands

The specialists of the National Library of Belarus, Svetlana Pugacheva, Natalia Zelenevskaya and Nelly Kovalevskaya, and the representatives of the United Institute of Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Yuri Getsevich and  Svetlana Getsevich, visited the leading libraries of the Netherlands. The professional travel (November 3–9) was supported by Mobility Scheme for Targeted People-to-People-Contacts (MOST).
