Students of Minsk Construction College No. 7 not only saw the resources and services of the National Library of Belarus, but also learned about the cultural and historical heritage of our country, which finds its way in the modern works of literature, music and fine art. In the course of the excursion, special emphasis was placed on the artworks Rogneda by Ms N. Sukhoverkova, The Tale of Igor's Campaign by Mr G. Poplavsky, On the Land of the Fathers by Mr V. Sumarev.
During the interactive segment, the students watched the animated film Rogneda, which tells about the life of the Grand Duchess and her extraordinary fate. At the end of the segment, they took a quiz and put together puzzles. Besides, the teenagers learned about a thematic book exhibition dedicated to historical figures (Vladimir, Rogneda, Izyaslav, Yaroslav), Belarusian cities (Polotsk, Zaslavl, Novogrudok) and literary monuments (Rus' Primary Chronicle, The Tale of Igor's Campaign).
