On 23 November, the representatives of the Ministry of Culture, the National Library and Mogilev Regional Library visited the residential care home for elderly people and the disabled at the Regional Social Service Center of Dribin.
More than 170 books of fiction were donated to the care home. The event was part of the charitable campaign “The book is a source of wisdom, knowledge and science...”, which is carried out in 2017, as part of the national celebration of the 500th anniversary of Belarusian book-printing.
The set of books was prepared by the well-known domestic publishers Belarus, Mastackaya litaratura, Pravo i ekonomika, Popurri, Vladimir Grevtsov’s Agency, as well as the bookselling companies Krasiko-print, Tregross-Info, MobilBook, MET, BookLineGroup, Eureka-M, Akademicheskaya kniga, Belkniga, Helton, Piter-М, and also private donators.
We invite everyone to join the charity campaign!
