The library held a webinar on the topic "Methodology and technology of cataloging documents in regional consolidated electronic catalogs".

The issues of the formation of bibliographic records in the BELMARC format, including the creation of access points in the conditions of work in the RSEC, were considered. The NBL specialists answered typical and complex questions arising in the process of working with RSEC from cataloguers of regional libraries.


Head of the Department of Organizing Catalogs of the Brest Regional Library named after M. Gorky Yulia Tsando shared her experience in organizing work on the formation of analytical records for local history documents in the RSEC of the Brest region.

More than 70 specialists from 56 libraries of Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno, Minsk, Mogilev regions took part in the webinar.
