National Library of Belarus presents the book exhibition "Gratitude for the Triumphant May!" dedicated to the Great Victory. The Victory will be eternally alive in the memory of next generations. Belarusian people remember and honor heroes of the Great Patriotic War, those who sacrificed their lives in the name of the future of our Fatherland and peaceful life of next generations. The memory of willpower and patriotism of Belarusian people will live eternally. Here are presented stories about unique human destinies, unknown or little known events of the Great Patriotic War, and heroic deeds performed in the name of the Victory. The exhibition is destined to commemorate those who sacrificed their lives, show the international significance of the victory over fascism, and further patriotic education of young people. The exhibition's slogan is the immortal words: "Nobody is forgotten, nothing is forgotten". Their heroic deed is eternal. The most valuable are books which survived the war, theses injured with bullets and pierced with fragments of shells.
