The final part of the All-Belarusian action “A question to the President” took place on October 22 at the National Library of Belarus.
The event was organized by the Belarusian Republican Youth Union and Belarusian Republican Pioneer Organization in all regions of the country.
Belarusian schoolchildren and students could ask their questions to the President of the Republic of Belarus from April 14 till May 25.
More than 3 000 young citizens of Belarus took part in the action. According to the results of the selection vote, only 60 of them didn’t receive a pass to the final meeting where each participant could ask their questions to the President personally.
The meeting lasted 2,5 hours. Head of State Aleksandr Lukashenko answered 20 questions. Besides, the President noted the necessity of such event and emphasized the important role of youth and children’s organizations in the social life of the country.
