Again about the Native Land: the Virtual Reading Room to Invite to Svetlogorsk on the Eve of the City Day Celebration
Other news

The virtual reading room continues to present the regional resources of partner organizations. Today we represent the literary museum "Two Talents - Two Fates" of the state cultural institution "Svetlogorsk Regional Library Network" of the Gomel Region.

Following the link in the virtual reading room, you will find the site of the museum and get acquainted with the works by Izyaslav Kotlyarov and Sophia Shah: citizens of Svetlogorsk, modern masters of the artistic word. They got an amazing chance from the fate: to be not only a married couple, but also successful partners in poetic creativity. They are united by the love of painting: S. Shah discovered the artist’s talent, I. Kotlyarov has fostered the city art gallery "Tradition" named after G. Pryanishnikov.

On the pages of local newspapers or venerable magazines, in collections of central publishing houses, at meetings with readers there are all activities of these two talented people, aimed at glorifying their native land, the formation of the cultural space of one of the youngest cities in our country, the city of oil workers, chemists and power engineers, a city with picturesque surroundings and creative countrymen.

The virtual reading room is planning other interesting Internet travels on resources, telling about small Belarusian locations, about people who are in love with their native land. So the native side will become virtually closer even to those users who are in the most remote countries of the world.
